Carol came to Oak Grove in July 1988, fell in love with the congregation and stayed. She has directed the music (first on a part time basis) since November 1994. Carol has been full time at Oak Grove since May 2004, directing the youth and music programs.
Carol grew up in the Lynchburg Church of the Brethren, served in Brethren Volunteer Service (1984-85), and graduated from Bridgewater College (1987). She and Mike (a runner) married in 1989, and love being parents to Landon (a recent graduate of Bridgewater College), and Kate (a sophomore at Roanoke College). Her hobbies include: singing, crafting, camping, and jumping on trampolines!
