Bible Study resumes this week

Bible Study will resume this Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. Over the next few weeks, we will study the books of Philippians, Colossians, Galatians, and Ephesians, planning to spend two weeks with each.We begin this week with Philippians.  If you are able, please read Acts 16:1-40 and Philippians 1-4 in preparation.

In light of this week’s developments with the Covid-19 virus, all in-person church activities are suspended until further notice. Worship services will continue via video as they did on Sunday, March 22, and Bible Studies will be held via Zoom each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. For Holy Week, some type of online/video worship service will be arranged. Worship Service and Updates

For the foreseeable future, all Virlina District events have been postponed or cancelled. We will make an announcement about Oak Grove’s status later this week. Several persons (Tim Harvey, Carol Elmore, Joe and Sara Blaha, Stephen Wills, Olivia Hawkins) gathered on Wednesday to record various parts of our worship service. After consultation with the Executive Committee, we have decided to follow the recommendation of the Virlina District and cancel all church services and events from Saturday, March 14 through Saturday, March 28.
