Ministry and Mission in Virlina

The annual Ministry and Mission in Virlina event will be held on Saturday, May 6, at Oak Grove CoB. It will be a day of worship, workshops, food, fellowship, and the Annual Conference briefing. The theme will be Listen to the Spirit! with the scripture focus from Revelation 3:13-22. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m., and the event will conclude by 3:30 p.m.
The day will begin with worship at 9:00 a.m. Timo- thy H. Emmons, Virlina District Conference Moderator, will preach. Following worship there will be a variety of workshops sponsored by the commissions and commit- tees of the District Board. They include:

 Your ticket to retirement – Nevin Dulabaum, Brethren Benefit Trust
The Oak Grove congregation will provide lunch: sandwich, side dish, fruit, chips, cookie, and beverage. The cost of lunch will be $8.00. After lunch, the Virlina District Standing Committee Delegates, Stafford Frederick, Roy McVey, and Susan Starkey, as well as the Annual Conference Secretary, Jim Beckwith, will conduct the Annual Conference Delegate Briefing.
