Dan Lubbs with his wife, Kris, and three children have been very involved in the life and growth of the Oak Grove congregation. During his college / university studies he performed two years of alternative service with Brethren Volunteer Service. He then received a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and, later, a master’s degree from Hollins University. He has been the treasurer at Oak Grove since 1998 and considers that to be his area of service to the church. Professionally, he works for the Roanoke City Public Schools in the Technology Department so the combination of technology and finance has proven to be very useful.
