Sunday Morning Worship Service at 11 am

Frequently Asked Questions

What time is your Sunday worship service?
We gather each Sunday for age and topic-based Christian Education classes for all ages at 9:45 a.m., and for worship at 11:00 am.

Our worship services are also broadcast via Facebook Live. Please contact the church office for more information, or find us on Facebook and check us out before you come!

What is your worship service like?
Our worship service is a traditional service consisting of prayers and meditation, music, a children’s message, scripture readings, and a sermon. Our music leader incorporates a wide range of musical styles in congregational singing, choirs, and instrumentals.  There are many ways to participate in our music: adult and youth choirs, solos, duets, instrumental solos or ensembles, and handbell choir.  All are encouraged to share their gifts in worship!

When should I arrive?
Whether you’re coming for Sunday School or for worship, we encourage people to arrive about 10 minutes early so you can meet a few of our members and find your way to a classroom or church pew.  Our ushers are always on hand to assist with whatever you may need. Directions to the church

What should I wear?   Please feel free to come in whatever you feel comfortable.

Do you have handicap parking? Yes. Handicap parking is available and marked in the parking lot near the front and side entrances of the church. There are additional handicap parking spots in the back of the church building near the fellowship hall entrances with an automatic handicap door at the right back entrance.

Our general rule is “those for whom walking is easier are encouraged to park toward the back of the parking lot, to reserve the spots closer in for those who most benefit from that.”

What programs does your church offer children? We offer regular Sunday School classes for children, as well as periodic kid-friendly events. If you would like more information, please contact the church office.

How do I become a member?  Oak Grove offers an eight-week course for persons considering joining our congregation.  Discipleship 101 covers the basics of Christian faith and life, and always consists of both new and long-time members at Oak Grove. If you are considering joining our church—by baptism or transfer of membership–or would like a refresher course in basic Christian faith and life, please contact  Pastor Tim.
